QUIÉTUDE #21025
"Quietude" , which could also be called peace of mind, is a state of being that is today lost. In this constantly changing world, where life is in a whirlwind with its thousand tasks to accomplish, we sometimes forget that it is desirable and even vital to settle down from time to time in order to rediscover this inner tranquility. Our brain and nervous system are constantly stimulated by external activities, by wifi waves that invade us.
In the long run, exhaustion sets in and one day, we collapse...
I experienced it intensely and now I realize the importance of taking the time to stop. I like the combination of wood and blue tones on this bracelet; it gives a zen result. It was the purpose of the exercise to combine colours and materials that inspire calm while being an ideal all purpose jewelry.
Take care of yourself, and stop from time to time to recharge your batteries!

BONHEUR #21026
We all aspire to happiness, and we know that it is not outside of us but inside; it is a state of being that fluctuates. We are beings of emotions and there is nothing like the sun and vibrant colours to stimulate us.
I thought of creating a very simple bracelet, in vibrant tones of red that stimulates and whips the senses and to incorporate as a central piece, a beautiful metal lens with a sun as a symbol of joy.
Be happy as much as you can and smile, you'll see it's contagious!

COCOS ISLANDS #21027
For the creation of this bracelet, I was inspired by this paradise, the Cocos Islands (Keeling), located in the Indian Ocean halfway between Australia and Sri Lanka. The Cocos Islands are actually a 14km archipelago composed of 27 coral islands, only two of which are inhabited, West Island and Home Island. There are only about 630 inhabitants in these islands; 69% of them are Malay, 18% are Australian and 13% British. The official language is English and Malay residents are Australian citizens.
The official name of the archipelago is now "Territory of the Cocos Islands". It is also called Keeling Islands in memory of William Keeling of the East India Company, who visited the islands in 1609. The name (Keeling), usually placed in brackets, is used to distinguish this archipelago from other Cocos islands elsewhere in the world. (ex: in Costa Rica) The name Cocos Islands was given because of the abundance of coconut trees that cover these islands; we are talking about thousands of coconut trees that are the only crop grown for export. A little anecdote:
the famous naturalist and paleontologist Charles Darwin, aboard the "HM Beagle", visited the islands in 1836.
So if you are looking for an island really lost at the end of the world, where you will be sure not to find your neighbour, why not take a walk one day in the magnificent atoll of the Cocos (Keeling)...?

LA JOYEUSE #21028
I have chosen for this bracelet to include a stone that I particularly like, cornelian. This magnificent orange-red stone brings happiness, serenity and dynamism to its wearer and has been known since ancient times for its properties. Carnelian has many beneficial effects on the body. It is often referred to as the stone of women because it helps with fertility and reduces menstrual pain. In addition, it has more general benefits on all abdominal pain and inflammation.
It is a stabilizing stone with high energy, excellent for restoring motivation, vitality and creativity. It helps us to be grounded in reality, gives us courage and stimulates us to make positive choices while dispelling apathy. It therefore gives us the courage to have faith in ourselves, motivates us to succeed and helps us to trust our perceptions.
It intensifies concentration and dissipates mental lethargy. For all these reasons as well as for its natural beauty, I chose this "magic stone" (we say lucky charm, so why not magic charm?)
and I combined it with the azure blue of sodalite and cobalt blue ceramic beads.
These complementary colours make it a very attractive jewel for the eye and give you the desire to bite life to the fullest... I wish you to attract to yourself everything that can make you feel full of life and joy! Come on, let's go!!!!

CAPE COD #21029
When I went on vacation to Cape Cod, Massachusetts in the summer of 2017, I felt in love with the place. I must say that I am particularly sensitive to the attractions of the sea, wherever it may be on the planet. So when the opportunity presented itself to go to the East Coast of America, I was immediately ready to go. Despite the very high traffic on its beaches in summer, the vast Cape Cod Peninsula is enchanting.
There are picturesque villages, seafood shacks, lighthouses and of course countless beaches on the bay and Atlantic Ocean. You can even take a ferry to visit the resort islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. If you have time, you can also visit Boston, which is not very far away. In short, there is a lot to do in these beautiful places and I would like to return soon to immerse myself in this place again and continue to make interesting discoveries.
I decided to use various shades of blue to create a bracelet that reminds us of the sea, the salty air and the holidays that allow us to forget for a while at least, the worries of everyday life.
For those who love the sea and the beach, I wish you to discover Cape Cod; if you have already done so, then I encourage you to return to it to please the child within you!
