I chose to create a bracelet with elements that represent all these values; everything reflects the naturalness, comfort and lightness. Wood and raw stones, nothing complicated like cabin life.

Just because it's simple doesn't mean it's any less beautiful; on the contrary, beauty reveals itself to those who know where the true values are hidden. You can't explain it, you just feel it in your heart...

 DESCRIPTION : 

Components: Raw agate, Picasso Jasper matte, cream turquoise, Unakite nuggets, green gold phoebe wood, grey gold phoebe wood, Burma black rosewood, coconut, antique brass discs and seed beads. Charms: copper leaves 

 The combination between the dark brown of the Obsidian and the turquoise gives a spectacular result. We cannot ignore the beauty of this magnificent blend; by adding Swarovski bronze crystal beads and various copper pieces, we obtain an enchanting and sensual jewel....

 What better way to express the candor and purity of being than white? In the Western world, white represents mainly positive values such as innocence, knowledge and balance.

It also reminds us of calm, peace and serenity. It provides light and a feeling of freshness. The first meaning of the colour white is spiritual. It's associated with angels and symbolizes light, strength, wisdom and the divine. My first intention when creating this bracelet was to make a jewel representing the above-mentioned values and I chose not to include any other color in order to emphasize the simplicity and beauty of the white frosted jade stones.

To add some sparkle, I included a variety of faceted glass beads of different shapes, as well as some stainless steel beads and a charm invoking the wing of an angel; a very simple beauty but so remarkable!

LA LAVENDIERE #13017

 First of all, I must say that the name "lavandière" (which means lavender girl) immediately came to my mind when I created this bracelet. Of course, the tones of purple and lavender reminded me of the lavender, a fragrant herb that contains so many medicinal propreties. I love its captivating scent and its colour is also one of my favourites; the lavender colour calms the mind and provides me with a definite feeling of well-being.

But as I did further research, I learned that a "Lavandière" (laundress) was actually the name that was once given to women who washed clothes with ashes and hot water, then by hand or by beating, in a stream or wash-house. In a way, the "lavandière" is the ancestor of the washing machines, before running water was available in homes. "Lavandière" is a Provençal term from the Mediterranean region, and was widely used thanks to the song "Les Lavandières" from Portugal at the end of the 1950s.

In short, the creation of this bracelet is a reminder of the natural beauty of the magnificent provençal lavender, but also a tribute to those women of the past who have worked so hard on this ungrateful task. We are now pampered with all those appliances that make our lives much easier....

Despite the greyness that accompanies you, let's appreciate the benefits of the water you give us.

This water, source of life, enhances nature with its drops of liquid crystal. Rainy day, which makes me want to go to sleep for a moment, allow me to slow down the pace in order to regenerate myself... Thank you for your beneficial presence and because of you, I will appreciate more the bright sunny days to come!

 Impetuous, ardent and passionate, that's what a spirited person looks like. With a fiery, indomitable and daring temperament, the spirited woman ignores conventions and often does as she pleases. Thirsty for freedom and full of life, she exults when she is allowed to enjoy life to the fullest. I imagine her as a wild horse, galloping according to the wind and her desires, wherever her heart sings... I envy this exciting freedom and this thirst to live each moment with intensity.

Should we not do the same when our heart and soul ask us to do so? After all, we only have one life, so it's better to enjoy every moment, with energy and vitality!
