I have had a picture of a lady from India in my home for a long time, seen from behind folding fabrics, probably the fabrics that make up the saris, traditional clothing for women in India and other countries in South Asia.
This photo is beautiful, and everything is in shades of orange, yellow and red.
India has always celebrated colours; you can see them everywhere: clothes, houses, at festivals, at markets...

The Grand Canyon, partly located in Arizona, is one of the wonders of the world. A wild beauty, a true mosaic of extraordinary and unique colours and textures.
These rocks are sculpted by nature, having taken millions of years to form; one can only be amazed and inspired by them...
I also like Turquoise, a sacred semi-precious stone from local First Nations, such as the Navajos, Hopi and Apache. It is used as a stone to protect the soul and body and also represents the element water.
This magnificent stone is abundant in the region, since Arizona's soils contain a lot of copper, the main ingredient that gives turquoise its magnificent blue colour.
By combining terra cotta colours, matt gold, copper and turquoise, I wanted to represent all the richness and beauty that nature can offer us; I love it!
